The Greenway Ferry

The Greenway Ferry has been running for over 1000 years.

The ferry is still summoned by ringing the bell on either side of the river. The ferry has progressed from being rowed and horse drawn to using an engine but sometimes we think we'd prefer the horse again - certainly lots of the children would!

In addition to our regular ferry services we offer a wide range of day and evening cruises along the beautiful coastline and up and down the river Dart stopping off at various locations giving you time to explore, have lunch and perhaps even do a litttle shopping.
