An important part of the festivals organisation was the question of how the organisers could reach out to both the general public and potential participants alike.
The BBC agreed to cover the festival, right from its start through to its completion and many newspapers, magazines, and periodicals have expressed huge interest in helping to spread the word. Tens of thousands of flyers have been distributed (via The National Trusts own internal mechanisms) with posters strategically placed in towns and villages throughout the county.
